Hello and thanks for your report!
Note however that as our "Bugs and Issues" page explains, we expect reports to first be submitted in the issue tracker once they have been discussed and confirmed as such on our dev mailing list . This is really important to us and we've tried to made it clear throughout the site.
I'll therefore be marking this issue as Incomplete. Feel free to repost it on dev at jitsi.java.net and we will of course reopen it if necessary.

P.S. On a side note, we would be interested to know how you reached the issue tracker without seeing any of the notes where we ask users not to submit issues without discussing them with the developers first.
> Some tooltips cover large areas when they should not
> Key: JITSI-972
> URL: http://java.net/jira/browse/JITSI-972
> Project: jitsi
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Affects Versions: 1.0
> Environment: Windows 7 x64
> Reporter: carragom
> Priority: Minor
> Attachments: jitsi-tooltip.jpg, jitsi-wrong-tooltip.jpg
> Sometimes tooltips are bigger than they should/need to be and so cover most of the main window, when this happens you have to move your mouse out of the main window and wait for the tooltip to disappear in order to do anything. This is annoying and it was not always like this, but i can't tell exactly at which build it was broken. From what I can tell this only happens with msn contacts that have descriptions in their profiles, looks like a lot of extra new-line characters are getting inserted in the tooltip. Check the screenshots for more description.
> Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks for the great work.
