damencho reopened JITSI-950:

My fault then, sorry! I'm reopening it now.
You just had to mention in the initial comment it was discussed on IRC :)

I had a chance to work on msnp18 implementation this weekend and I can say its almost finished just a few things should be done before fully testing it. Also I found that with current msnp15 offline messages doesn't work, due to that the support for it was dropped from servers and new method must be implement, which is one more thing I was working on. Hope to have it soon. I will post a test version of java-jml for tests before commiting it so we can all test.

> Issue Type: Bug
> Affects Versions: current
> Environment: Ubuntu 11.04, Sun Java 1.6.0_24, Open JDK 1.6.0_22-b22

> When I check/tick my MSN account to connect Jitsi appears to try to connect (the spinning wheel or whatever spins in the status menu next to my MSN account) and then nothing - no connection.
> I am able to connect with other accounts (ICQ, GTalk, AIM, Yahoo).
> I use Pidgin and my MSN account DOES connect.
> I have been unable to obtain a useful stack trace; I decided to try with OpenJDK and got what looks like an interesting series of exceptions. See the attached log file.
